@avenue87.sg is the new kid on Amoy Street. The brainchild of 2 Singaporean friends who grew up in Hougang Ave 8 and 7, Avenue 87 is set to delight palates with its modern Asian cuisine. We had the 6-Course menu ($98) with wine pairing and standouts include the Kueh Pie Tee which is a meatless take on assam pedas, the grilled Octopus with house-made sambal, Baby Lamb Rack (which I wanted to switch to beef rendang initially as I don’t take lamb but thankfully I didn’t because it was superb!) with stingless bee honey sauce, and Pisang No Goreng. I will highly recommend that you go for wine pairing. The Honey Mead Apricot “Tea” is especially delish! @ Avenue 87
